Certification

Two levels of certification.

During the beta, every work is certified at level 1.

Never lost. Downloadable. Traceable. Transferable. And every transfer on record.

dCOA makes visible and traceable what usually stays invisible: the authorship declared by the artist, the provenance and every transfer.

Royalties for the artist

Coming soon

In many countries, the law entitles artists to a percentage of many resales of their work: the resale right (droit de suite).

Where that right exists, dCOA records the resale and notifies the artist with the information needed to claim it; it doesn't collect or manage royalties.

Where it doesn't, every transfer is still recorded: you know which country your work is in and how many times it has changed hands.

Getting started

Transparent from the start.

Free during the beta. After that, artists and galleries pay a subscription; collectors don't pay for their certificates, and a transfer fee may apply when they sell.
